Service Dog Accepts Degree

Pull out the tissues for this one PetParents. We all know our pets are capable of a lot of incredible things, but have you ever heard of a service dog accepting a college graduation diploma? That’s just what service dog Cletus did this May.

Cletus, a seizure service dog, recently accepted his owner’s posthumous degree during the Idaho State University graduation ceremony. His late guardian Josh Kelly had passed away just months before from complications of epilepsy. But his constant companion Cletus, and Kelly’s father, were there to walk across the stage together and accept the diploma that Josh had worked so hard towards, a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology.
