Pupcakes, sounds like a true winner to any dog if you ask me! You can edit the recipe slightly based on what your dog likes (or what you have around the house) because this is one recipe that always turns out great. I have yet to have any dog turn his nose up at these homemade pupcakes!

1 1/2 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup melted butter (vegan butter preferred)
1/4 cup olive oil
3 eggs (or egg replacement, such as banana)
1/4 cup shredded cheese (vegan cheese prefered)
1 jar baby food

1. Start by mixing all the dry ingredients together gently. Add melted butter, oil, baby food, and eggs.

2. Just like “normal” cupcakes, fill these about 2/3 full.

3. Bake at 325 degrees for 22 minutes and allow to cool.

Dogs will love these pupcakes with frosting or without. If you go the frosting route, use whatever your dog likes. My top choices is yogurt.

One of my cocker spaniel is allergic to corn, wheat, beef and chicken. Could you please post some recipes for allergic dogs?

You could use gluten free all purpose flour, which is rice based (it’s cup-for-cup substitute) & there is no chicken or beef in this recipe. My daughter has celiac disease so we go through much the same frustrating things. It’s about learning how to substitute in any recipe. You have to learn how to change your thinking/cooking, cause in the end, it’s up to you to make sure the food is allergy friendly.
