Are you a Dallas-Fort Worth Pet Parent who’s ready to get out and brunch on the weekend with your pup by your side? We’ve rounded up some of the best brunch spots that the Dallas-Fort Worth area has to offer!
1. Spiral Diner
If you’re looking for a place that is not only delicious but consciences about the food they put out then you need to head down to Spiral Diner. Spiral’s founder Amy McNutt became very aware of dairy and egg industries when she made a short film about the industries. After this experience Amy became a vegan. Amy after her experiences through the film industry and with other vegans found that access to delicious vegan food was hard to come by, so she eventually moved back to Fort Worth and opened Spiral Diner. When you dine at spiral diner, you can be assured that you are not only eating some of the best pancakes ever created, but you can rest assured that the food you are eating is 100% vegan. Finding a restaurant that is so involved in the community and puts so much thought and heart into making sure the food their customers consume is hard to come by. We truly applaud Spiral Diner for being a true (and delicious) vegan restaurant and for being environmentally responsible.
This restaurant with an incredible history is also a wonderful place for you and your dog to have brunch together. Owned and run by Gloria and Jose, two Salvadorians that has shown Texas what the real American dream looks like through their successful chain of restaurants beloved by our state. Gloria’s has some of the best Mexican food you will find anywhere and their brunch is no different. Featured on the Dallas Morning News their newsworthy food, like their Huevos con Papas, is top notch. You will not be disappointed by their food, staff, or great atmosphere that brings a little piece of Gloria and Jose’s love for their patrons to every table. Did we also mention that they have the best drink deals in town? With $1 mimosas and $2 Mango or Pomegranate Mimosas, you will be more than satisfied with this Texas home grown restaurant.
Looking to escape Dallas to a bohemian piece of heaven? Look no further than to Bolsa. Located in Oak Cliff, Bolsa is located in a historic building called Settles Garage. Bolsa’s owner has stayed true to its home by restoring many of the original elements to the old garage including the original garage door and cement floors. Bolsa’s service reflects their hardworking nature derived from their owner, who apparently built the restaurant brick by brick himself. Their brunch menu is one that will take to a little bohemia. With French toast cakes and duck fat biscuits, they truly have a unique style that feels like it is worlds away from Dallas.
State and Allen Lounge has one of the best patios in DFW. This restaurant prides themselves on great service, great food, and great chicken. When we say they have a great patio, we are talking about their huge wrap around patio bistro themed restaurant that you will never want to leave. This is a great spot for people watching, or for you and your pup to just relax and have an incredible brunch. May we recommend their Chicken and Waffles, which is to die for. They really do have the best chicken in town.
5. The Londoner
If you are feeling like escaping to London for just a few hours, than the Londoner is the right spot for you. This London inspired restaurant and sports bar is the perfect place to watch some Manchester United while you much on some brunch. They also have a large selection of beer, which we are sure is encouraged here during brunch. They have some of the best service in DFW, with knowledgeable bartenders and staff to help you with any drink selection. If you are looking for an authentic pub experience, this is the place to go.
