Dog Parks in San Antonio

1. Madison Square Dog Park

This .65 acre dog park located at 400 Lexington Ave is the pawfect place to bring your dog for some play time!  This fenced in off leash area has plenty of room for your pup to run around, and doggie water fountains for when he needs to take a cool refreshing break from romping around.  They’ve also got Mutt-Mitts for your convenience and plenty of shady seating for your use.  Your dog will love this clean little park and you’ll love it too!  Check out Madison Square Dog Park soon!

2. Pearsall Dog Park

Located on Old Pearsall Road, the Pearsall Dog Parks is sure to get your dog’s tail wagging!  Not only do they have separate play areas for large and small dogs, but they’ve also got tons of agility equipment for your playful pooch.  For your convenience there are doggie bags, water fountains, and benches, but there isn’t much shade so be sure to put on some sunscreen before heading out to the park.  There is also an additional walking trail attached to the park, perfect for pups and PetParent’s who’d rather go out and blaze a trail together!

3. McAllister Dog Park

Just down Jones-Maltsberger road is McAllister Dog Park!  This 1.5 acre dog park includes lots of room for your pup to run around as well as exercise equipment for your pup and his friends to enjoy!  Enjoy McAllister Dog Park’s picnic tables and benches while your dog enjoys all the fun of socializing with his playful pals.  You can take Fido for a one on one too, as the park is also equipped with a walking trail where you can go for a jog with your furry friend.  Check out McAllister Dog Park for a totally pawsome time!

4. Tom Slick Dog Park

Right off Highway 151 is a great little bark park called Tom Slick Dog Park.  This 1 acre park has tons of amenities for both you and your playful pal.  For Fido, they’ve got separate play areas for small and large dogs as well as an additional enclosure located near the playground.  For you there are benches, picnic tables, and the ever so convenient dog shower for those pets who like to get down and dirty when they playing outdoors.  There’s also a water fountain for both you and your dog to keep both of you hydrated!

5. Phil Hardberger Park Dog Park

Your dog will love the Phil Hardberger Park Dog Park on Blanco Road!  It’s a large 1.8 acre dog park with separate areas for small and large dog play.  The great thing about this park is the large amount of trees onsite which keep it shady and cool during the summer.
