Dog Parks in Boston

Listen PetParents, it is time to escape your Netflix binge and take your dog out for some fresh air (you probably need it too.) Boston has ton of cool dog parks that will make any non-nature lover feel comfortable while their dog plays. So take a second to pause Netflix, and check out these top picks.

1. South Boston Bark Park 

South Boston Bark Park is a great park to let your pup run and play in. This is a by-membership only park, because they are funded by donations only. You can only take three pups at a time to the park and your dog must have a good reaction to voice control. All dogs are also required to have their ID, rabies, and license tag as issued by the City of Boston.

2. Amory Park 

Amory Park is one of our favorite places to take our dog’s on a run in Boston. This former wet-land and now current forest, is a lovely place to escape with your pup. Your pup must stay on leash while they are running through the park with you, and they must have their ID, rabies, and license tag as issued by the City of Boston on their collar.

3. Fresh Pond Reserve Boston 

The Fresh Pond Reserve in Boston is a lovely and relaxing spot for you and your dog. Take a picnic and sit by the water while your pup enjoys some fresh air. You must keep your pup on a leash at all times at the park.

4. Zero New Parks and Open Space 

This is a great off leash park for your dog to run and play in. There are doggie water fountains, tunnels, climbing elements, and a spray area to cool off your pup. There are also covered benches and tables so you PetParents, can sit back and relax while your pup plays!

5. Hunnewell Park 

Hunnewell Park has a fenced off leash area for your pup to play in. The park is covered with trees, making it a nice little scenic adventure for you and your pup. Make sure to keep your pup on their leash when you are not in the dog off leash area as the rules require.
