Dog Power Foods

There are some types of foods that are not only good for your dog, but will turn them into superdog itself. These dog power foods have incredible chemical components that work incredibly with your dogs body. Whether you give them to your dog as a treat or create your own dog food with them, you should in someway or another be adding these to your dog’s diet.

1. Salmon 

Salmon is an incredible food that you should be feeding your dog. Salmon omega-3 and fatty acids are great for your dogs coat and skin. But not only will they look great, but this will also improve your dogs joints. Fish oil has now been said to be very beneficial to help maintain good joint health, and has also been known to help dogs with arthritis.

2. Sweet Potatoes 

Making some sweet potato chips for yourself? Give some to your dog! There are a great source of B6, Vitamin C, and Fiber. Sweet potatoes are also an anti inflammatory so they are great treats to give your dog after a run or play time to help there possible sore muscles.

3. Green Beans

Green beans are a great food to feed your dog to help them maintain a healthy weight. They are a great source of Vitamin C which is great for your dogs immune system, and they are incredibly filling. This low calorie filling snack can help your dog maintain a healthy weight and keep them happy.

4. Brewers Yeast 

Brewers yeast is a great metabolism booster for your dog! Brewers yeast is what is left over after making alcohol which can help boost your dogs metabolism and improve their coat health. Contact your local brewery to see if you can purchase some or check out your local health foods store.

5. Pumpkin 

Pumpkin is  great for your dogs digestive health. Pumpkin is a great source of fiber and has been know to help your dogs digestive health.
