Los Angeles is known for it’s diversity and versatility. So it’s not surprising that animal lovers in the LA area have a wide selection of animal related volunteer opportunities to choose from. It’s not often you find an animal rescue organization dedicated to our smaller furry friends. Little critters need protection too, and this rescue has gone to the bunnies! The mission of The Bunny World Foundation is to save the lives of bunnies who are victims in the Fashion District of Santee Alley. Volunteers are needed for a wide range of tasks: foster a bunny awaiting adoption, transport bunnies to and from adoption days & vet appointments, pick up supplies/run errands, clean bunny cages, brush/pet/play/socialize with the bunnies. To volunteer with Bunny World Foundation, email firstname.lastname@example.org to begin the sign-up process.
A Dog’s Life Rescue is 100% volunteer run, so it’s clear that your help is needed if you’re willing to pitch in! Volunteer at adoption events, transport animals, help on the computer or around the office! Contact email@example.com for more. A Dogs Life Rescue is a non-profit, all volunteer, no-kill rescue organization that is dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned, abused, and neglected pets. They provide shelter, care, and rehabilitation prior to adopting these animals out into wonderful homes.

They work to place around 1,000 cats and kittens each year, and have re homed over 10,000 cats since their beginning. Most of the cats and kittens reside in foster homes while they are in the care of Kitten Rescue, so foster homes are a constant need. The goal of Kitten Rescue is to help LA become a no-kill city.
